Paris Haute Couture FW 14/15 - Valentino (vogue.fr)

Another exquisite example of Chiuri and Piccioli's work, this time channeling a very dreamy Pre-Raphaelite vibe, with lots of goddess gowns, strappy lace-up flat leather sandals and a garden of almost decadent beauty as their set.

Fluid lines, breezy pleats, several short lengths, asymetries, soft transparencies and flat sandals kept the collection exhaling freshness, youthfulness and ease. Golden tones, graphic embroideries and artisanal-looking textures spiced up the natural, almost pale shades, adding that Valentino twist to the big picture. There was only one red dress and it was the sensuous proof all those innocent looking gowns were getting closer and closer to a total loss of innocence. The last nymph gowns in sea foam colours were another (yet, more subtle) pinch of sexuality in a collection of immaculate beauty.
