|Blue Shirt. Zara FW 13/14|
So it seems a simple, laid back, blue shirt is this week's must have! Do I need to tell you why?
Well, besides translating effortlessness and being an urban style staple, it is pretty versatile and fits perfectly the masculine inspired trend we'll be loving this autumn.
To show you how versatile it can be, I've put together three outfits similar to the ones I'm wearing on the editorial :)
The trend: Pointy shoes will be following us everywhere!
The tip: Nothing on your city closet says summer better than shorts. Don't break up the affair yet... Just give it a little urban twist, adding pointed shoes, a shirt and breezy minimalistic accessories to the outfit. And note that little splashes of gold are amazing to spice things up!
The trends: Boyish clothes and electric blue accessories. I'm serious. You can't turn your back on them much longer.
The tip: Boyfriend jeans are great dressing a whole outfit down. The best part of it is you can wear your most polished heels and your best velvet blazer (together!) as daywear without risking looking too dressed up. My heart is screaming with happiness!
The trend: Wearing lingerie as a visible part of you outfit. Of course it's possible!
The tip: There are many ways to make this trend work for anyone. With this outfit, I'm showing you a very easy and discret one. We want a low key outfit, so there's no need to expose too much. That's another advantage in wearing loose shirts! They will suggest the contours of you body and even if they're fairly unbottoned, only your moves can give a hint of what's inside... if you want to. Try lowering a big sparkling necklace down to your bra, for extra coverage and embellishment on your chest.
